Police, Fire & Rescue

The Twin Valley Police Department provides 24 hour coverage, assists the Norman County Sheriff's Office and works with the County Attorney on criminal matters.    If you need to reach the Police Department, please call the following number:

Office Phone:  218-584-5444 (Non-Emergency)
If no one answers within 4-6 rings, it will transfer to the Norman Co. Sheriff's office dispatcher. Ask Dispatch to notify the officer on duty.

The Twin Valley Fire Department is a volunteer department and currently has 22 members. The TVFD meets the first and fourth Wednesdays in the Community Center or Fire hall for meetings & Dept. trainings. The city contracts with six surrounding townships to provide fire protection service. If you are interested in joining the TVFD, contact Chief John Gall.

The Twin Valley Rescue Service is a First Responders unit, they are called out to stabilize and provide immediate care until the Norman County Ambulance service arrives. Meetings are held the third Monday of the month in the Joe Merhiy Rescue Services building on Hwy. 32.  To contact the Rescue Service Building for a Non-emergency, please call the number below:
